Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
